Manlius The Manlius Historical Society will showcase more than 40 Upstate New York artists and craftspeople when it host its 35th annual Fine Arts & Crafts Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at the Manlius Village Centre.
As a juried show, the festival attracts the highest quality and variety of goods to fit all budgets. Attendees will find crafts from the skilled potters, woodworkers, quilters, photographers, artists and jewelers. Featured this year are clothing designers, from designers of men’s bow ties to custom-made jackets, children’s fashion and outfits that young girls can coordinate with their American Girl dolls.
Harpist Alexandra Courson will perform and Cafe Milan is again catering the event.
The Fine Arts & Crafts Festival is one of the Manlius Historical Society’s most successful fundraising events. Admission is $3 ($2 for members), which directly benefits the organization. For more information on the Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, go to ManliusHistory.org or call the Cheney House at 682-6660.
