To the editor:
We wish to add a note of thanks for another cat rescue operation to the Fayetteville Fire Department as well as to very helpful neighbors.
Our cat, missing for several days, was spotted on our roof. When efforts to get her down failed, it was suggested we call the fire department. They came and managed to get the stubborn, scared little animal down.
If it weren’t for all the good folks — firemen and good neighbors, the outcome would have been otherwise. Our gratitude to all!
Sincerely,
Saul and Gerry Berkman, Fayetteville
Minoa at Christmas: a sight to be seen
To the editor:
How beautiful our village of Minoa looks, especially at Christmas time.
The decorated trees and other decorations make the season really meaningful.
Many thanks to Tom Petterrelli and all the guys at the Minoa D.P.W.
We are grateful for all you do.
Ron and Laura Cronk, Minoa
