— Syracuse resident Fred Muratore has been announced as the first-prize winner of Christian Brothers Academy's 21st annual Corvette Raffle, sponsored by Burdick Chevrolet and TJ Maxx. Muratore will take home a brand new 2011 torch red Chevrolet Corvette.

“I’ve been buying tickets for years,” Muratore said. “I am so happy to finally win this beautiful car! I like the new model since I am at a time in my life when I’m glad not to worry about maintenance issues … just get in and drive!”

Taking the second-prize of $1,000 was Merriam S. Brelsfod of Morrisville, Pa.

Rounding off third-prize was Dr. Paul Karpinkski, CBA Class of 80, of Skaneateles, with $500.
