East Syracuse The seventh annual Taste of East Syracuse will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, outside the East Syracuse Municipal Building. Food will be cooked and sold outdoors by local businesses and organizations.
The day will include a cook-off between East Syracuse Mayor Danny Liedka and Wegmans chef Zach Papaleoni on the main stage at 6 p.m.; musical entertainment by the Noisy Boys; and a Kids Zone with games, a bouncer with a slide, a dunk tank, pony rides and face painting.
The East Syracuse Fire Department and the Helping Hounds agency will both participate, and the East Syracuse Police Department will be there to provide child ID cards.
