SYRACUSE The East Syracuse Minoa DECA Chapter is hosting a Project K Fashion Show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel. Tickets are only $20 and include dinner and hors d’oeuvres. For reservations and tickets contact dbaker@esmschools.org.
All proceeds will benefit The Kara Fund. Kara MacDougall was an ESM student and active DECA member who passed away her senior year from cancer. In her memory, a foundation was created to provide comfort for children and families in the oncology unit at the Golisano Children Hospital, along with scholarships given to actively involved students who share the same spirit as Kara.
The show will feature fashions from Boom Babies, Chloe’s Closet, Modern Pop, Culture, Men’s Warehouse, Apricot and Lane. Models include high school principal Greg Avellino, school board president Debbie Kolod and ESM students and alumni.
