I would like to provide facts in response to issues raised by your recent article.
The parking area that is the subject of your article is owned solely by Clancy-Magley, LLC. ("Clancy Magley"). The parking area is maintained solely for the benefit of its tenants Lonsdale Salon, Wonder Nails, Trendy Tech Golf, and Feats of Clay, who pay for the parking area as part of their rent.
Clancy Magley alone pays for the taxes, plowing, maintenance, and repair for the private parking lot.
The Village of Manlius formerly paid monthly rent to Clancy Magley to allow public use of the private parking lot. For reasons only the Village of Manlius can explain, the Village stopped the rental agreement with Clancy Magley, but people continue to park their cars in the Clancy Magley private parking lot.
Neighboring businesses "Cafe 119", "Manlius Cinema", and "Ironwood Pizza" have absolutely no right to have their patrons or employees park in the Clancy Magley parking area.
Each of the aforementioned businesses were asked to advise their patrons and employees to not park in Clancy Magley's private parking area, but violators persist.
